Arthur Herbert Crawford

Arthur Herbert Crawford was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa December 11, 1880. He moved with his family to Dewey County, Oklahoma.
On September 14, 1904 he married Minnie M. Hale, soon after they moved to the Nine Mile Community west of Hammon. From August 1929 the home was five miles east of Hammon.
Five children were born to the Crawford's, Lucile C. Kays of Altus, Oklahoma; Iris C. Foose of Amarillo, Texas; A. H. Crawford of Roswell, New Mexico; Wilma Lee C. Leman of San Bernadino, California; and Maurice Crawford of Bethany, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Crawford and her oldest daughter, Lucile, preceded Mr. Crawford in death.
Services were held in the Church of Christ at Hammon, Oklahoma, May 15, 1967.
Interment was in Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.

Home that our feet may leave but, not our hearts;
The chain may lengthen but it never parts.
