Lahoma June Ackley

Lahoma June Ackley was born April 15, 1928, in Hammon and passed away November 29, 1999, in Elk City at the age of 71.
She was the daughter of Reed and Frances Hensley Ackley and lived all her life in Hammon until she entered a nursing home some years ago.
Miss Ackley is survived by one sister, Joan Tomberlin, and brother-in-law, Leon, of Marble Falls, Texas; and three nephews and their wives, Mike and Pam Tomberlin of Florence, Alabama; David and Kay Tomberlin of Birmingham, Alabama; and Dean and Terri Tomberlin of Marble Falls, Texas.
Additional survivors are four great nephews, Patrick, Christopher, Jonathan and Joseph Tomberlin; six great nieces: Jennifer, Jill, Jordann, Emily, Kirby and Stephanie Tomberlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Naomi Jean Ackley.
Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 1, 1999, at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon.
Officiating will be Tom Harguess, Minister, 2nd and Adams Street Church of Christ in Elk City.
Arrangements are with Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.
