Alice Mae Drake Bullard

Alice Mae Drake Bullard was born to Elton John and Verna Marie Rupp Drake on February 13, 1920 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. She departed this life May 4, 1998 at the age of 77.

Alice accepted Jesus Christ as her Saviour and was baptized while still a girl at home in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

She attended the Arnett Baptist Church.

She married Jesse Carl Bullard on July 3, 1937.

They moved to Nogales, Arizona where Carl worked as a welder and Alice finished high school.

They lived in Los Angeles, California before moving east of Arnett, Oklahoma in 1947 where they entered the dairy business. They retired and moved into Arnett in 1978.

She enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling, fishing and activities at the Arnett Senior Citizens Center.

She enjoyed dancing all of her life, teaching pattern dances with her husband Carl in later years.

She joined Eastern Star in 1959 and was a very active member.

After Carl's death she became very active in the Senior Citizens Center.

Those preceding Alice in death was her husband, Carl; and her parents Elton and Verna Drake.

She leaves to mourn her passing her son, Terry Bullard and his wife, Bonnie of Olustee, Oklahoma; her daughter, Carla Tice and her husband Ron of Woodward, Oklahoma; one grandson, Carl Tice of West Melbourn, Florida; two granddaughters, Penny Hutchinson and her husband, Mackey of Vici, Oklahoma; Terica Bryant and her husband, Steve of Narco, California; two great grandsons and four great granddaughters; one step grandson; and eighteen step great grandchildren; two sisters, Katy Davis and her husband Harold of Canton, Texas; Faye Randolph of Hawthorn, California; and two brothers, Charles Drake and his wife, Dorothy of Warminster, Pennsylvania; Ken Drake and his wife, Carmen of Jesseville, Arkansas; and several nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
