Submitted by: Wanda Purcell

Nellie Marinda Graves was born near Sun City, Kansas, January 11, 1878.
She moved to Oklahoma with her parents in 1892, the year that the Cheyenne and Arapaho country was opened for settlement.
She was married to Fayette Anderson, January 27, 1896. To this union ten children were born. Three of her children preceded her in death.
She departed this life September 30, 1937 at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 19 days.
She is survived by her husband, Fayette Anderson of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; seven children, Mrs. L. F. Raush of Amarillo, Texas; Claude Anderson of Artesia, New Mexico; John Anderson of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Eula Lee Anderson of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Glenn Anderson of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Vernon Anderson of Silver City, New Mexico and Pauline Anderson of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Anderson of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Mrs. Willie Bulkley of Santa Fe, New Mexico; one brother, Roy Graves of Albuquerque, New Mexico and many other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Anderson was converted and united with the Methodist church in the year, 1902. She lived and died a faithful member of that church. Her passing leaves a vacancy in her church, in the community, and in the hearts of all who knew her, but we know she has gone to fill the Mansion which Jesus went to prepare for her.
Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist Church of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, September 2, 1937 by Rev. Oscar E. Hill and Rev. J. W. Carleton.
Interment was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
