On Friday morning, March 5, 1926, the community was shocked at the sad intelligence that Mrs. A. G. Jurgensen and two little sons had met such a tragic death.
Dulcie Mae McLain was born at Brainard, Nebraska, on December 10, 1901, and departed this life at her home near Grimes March 4, 1926, age 24 years, 2 months and 22 days.
A number of her girlhood years were spent with her grandmother and aunt at David City, Nebraska, where she acquired part of her education, later returning to the home of her parents near Grimes.
On March 11, 1920, she was united in marriage to Alvin G. Jurgensen. Three children came to bless their life, Delbert Allen, born March 14, 1921; Alvin Jr., born August 27, 1923; and Johanna, born March 22, 1921.
Delbert Allen and Alvin Jr., departed this life Friday morning March 5, 1926, at the age of 4 years, 11 months and 18 days and 2 years; 6 months and 11 days, respectively.
Mrs. Jurgensen was a kind and loving wife and mother.
Delbert Allen and Alvin Jr., had a sweet and loving disposition and were loved by all who knew them, their short stay on earth brought only happiness to all who came in contact with them.
The funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. McLain on March 5, 1926 at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. Weeks, pastor of the M.E.Church at Sayre, assisted by the Evangelist from there.
The remains were conveyed and laid to rest in the Mulberry Cemetery.
The wife and mother leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband and daughter, mother, father, five brothers and four sisters, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
