William Gilpin Moad

Funeral services for William Gilpin Moad, retired farmer living at Hammon, will be held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Hammon with Rev. Albert Trent officiating.

Mr. Moad died at 5 o'clock Sunday morning February 12, 1939 at Hammon. He was born October 10, 1866 in California, and was 72 years, four months, and two days of age at his death.

He was married 42 years ago to Miss Jenny Johnson in Indian territory. His wife preceded him in death approximately 20 years ago.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Clara Norvel, of Hobert and Mrs. Amy Yount, of Leedey, and two brothers, Charles S. Moad of Cisco, Texas and Albert G. Moad of Guthrie.

Burial will be made in Kiowa cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
