To this union were born ten children three of whom preceded their mother to that other shore. The other seven, together with the husband, one sister and one brother, were at her bed side when she passed away.

She was an ideal wife and mother and her influence will continue to live although, she is not present in the flesh. The loss to the family is such that it cannot be estimated or measured. The husband is heatbroken over the loss of a loving and faithful companion, with whom he had lived so many years. The children the loss of a mother. They all are strcken with grief over the many find comfort in the though that she was ready and willing to go, and that she awaits them on the peaceful shore where sufferings does not exist and separat9ion is not known.

Mrs. Cecil was a great help to the community of Durham and she will be missed by many neighbors and friends.

Her place is vacant, but God knows best.
