Submitted by: Wanda Purcell

Henry Dean passed away over the silent river. He was born in Mississippi, March 26, 1849, died at the home of his son-in-law, James Williams, June 23, 1921.
Mr. Dean was married to Martha Burnett, September 8, 1870. To this union was born twelve childre, nine children with the mother still living.
Three children having preceded him to their heavenly home. Besides these he leaves two brothers, one sister, twenty eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was converted over 50 years ago and became a member of the M.E. Church South, to which he remained faithful to the end.
His wish to his wife and children was not to grieve over him, for all was well between him and his Master.
Funeral services were conducted by the Methodist minister of Leedey.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to these bereaved ones, as we cherished Mr. Dean as our neighbor and friend.
