Funeral services for Mary Orlena Crabtree Smith, Oklahoma City, who died Friday, July 18, 1947, following a long illness at the home of her son, Otto Smith of Oklahoma City, will be held from the Dempsey school auditorium Sunday, July 20, 1947 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. J. L. Davis officiating.
Mrs. Smith was born February 11, 1861 at Sebastian County, Arkansas.
She was married in 1885 to the late Squire M. Smith.
They came to western Oklahoma in the early days and homesteaded north of Sayre where they resided for twenty years before moving to Oklahoma City several years ago.
She has been a member of the Church of God since she was sixteen years old.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors are one son, Otto Smith of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Lillian Smith of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; and one brother, W. W. Crabtree of Wetumka, Oklahoma.
Funeral arrangements will be in charge of the Moore Funeral Home with burial in Dempsey cemetery, Grimes.
