In memory of Mayo L. Cox, born October 26, 1895, Sheridan, Indiana and passed away March 18, 1963 at Sayre, Oklahoma.
Services for him were held on March 20, 1963 at Sunny Point Community Building with Rev. Roy Fox and Mr. Don Hicks officiating.
Burial was in the Dempsey Cemetery, Dempsey, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
He was the father of two children, Anna Lee of Midwest City; and Thomas Karl, deceased; as are his parents and two sisters.
Honorary pallbearers were Carl Olson, Nels Olson, Dave Dare, Jack Casady, Lee Caffey, Cecil Flemings, Dean Cross and Alva Smith. Active pallbearers were E. E. McCullough, I. J. Dedmon, Cleto Franklin, Solomon Moses, John H. Dowdell and Gaylord Harrington, members of the I.O.O.F.
He leaves his daughter, wife, two brothers, four sisters and many other relatives and a host of friends.
The I.O.O.F. held graveside services.
