Funeral services were held Saturday, December 27, 1975 in the Reydon Community Building with Rev. Mike Sullivan, Allison, Texas and Rev. Eddie Overstreet, Reydon, officiating.
Ruby Lela Jackson was born November 4, 1903 in Logan County, Oklahoma and came as a child with her parents to western Oklahoma.
On January 27, 1926 she married Eugene R. Brewer at Cheyenne and they made their home in the Sunny Point Community until 1933 when they moved to Reydon to make their home.
She was a member of the Reydon First Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday School Class until her health failed.
She also taught school at Sunny Point and Needmore.
Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers.
Survivors are her husband of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Willa Jean Shelton of Allison, Texas; two grandsons, Mark and Rusty; five sisters, Mrs. Pyrle of Bessire and Mrs. Zella Swope both of Reydon; Mrs. Erma Fisher and Mrs. Vida Arnold, both of Portland, Oregon; and Mrs. Bertha Smith of Tucson, Arizona.
Interment was in the Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel, Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
