Claud E. Berry was born October 19, 1912 in Denton, Texas to Ammie Ozella and Andrew Robert Berry and passed away July 2, 1994 in the Fayetteville City Hospital at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 13 days.
Claud grew up in the Willow community where he attended school before beginning his career as an electrician.
He later moved to Lone Wolf, Oklahoma and was married to Nina Olson on June 22, 1940 in Sayre, Oklahoma.
They remained in Lone Wolf before purchasing the telephone company in Willow. In 1957, they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where they stayed until 1987 when they returned to Oklahoma to be near family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Nan Ellen, three sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Nina of the home; four daughters, Dorothy Marie Moore, Pohnpia, FSM; Nina Louise Verkler of Rogers, Arkansas; Claudia Mae Ferguson of Cortez, Colorado; and Nancy Jane Hamill of Soldotna, Arkansas; one son, Larry James Berry of Altamonte Springs, Florida; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Marie Berry and husband D. A. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Ruth Olson of Grimes, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 1994 in the Rose Chapel officiated by Kevin Ballard.
Interment will be in the Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
