Edna Louise Ward Green, age 92, of Lytle, Texas passed away October 29, 2016 in Castroville, Texas. Edna Louise was born July 9, 1924 in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, one of five children born to Franklin and Alva Dawkins Ward.

Edna Louise was a member of Medina Valley VFW Post 8134 Auxiliary and Grand Lodge, Sons of Hermann Lodge 261 in La Coste. She was a self-employed bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Noble Joe Green; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Suzanne Cohen-Green; sisters, Evelyn Archer and Veta Archer; and brother, James Ward.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jo and L.M. Pittman, Jr. of Lytle; son, Kenneth Green of Lytle; grandchildren, Kevin Joe Pittman and Jessamyn Lynn Sanders; great grandchildren; James Bendele, Robin Pittman, Ryan Pittman, Cody Sanders and Allison Sanders; great grandchildren, Hayden Bendele and Kazdyn Wilder; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Gene Brunnert; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home.

Graveside Service and Interment will be Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Cheyenne Cemetery in Cheyenne, OK under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
