Roy Leon Coker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Coker, was born October 31, 1907 at Gerty, Oklahoma and departed this life May 27, 1947 at the age of 39 years, 6 months and 27 days.
He was married to Lillabelle Harmon, September 6, 1930 and to this union were born two sons, Deryl and Dow.
Besides his wife and sons he leaves to mourn his departure his mother, Ada Coker of Gerty, Oklahoma; a brother, Arthur Jackson Coker of Gerty; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Pusley of Bakersfield, California; and Mrs. Beulah Baker of Wenatchee, Washington.
His father and one brother, Horace Raymond, preceded him in death.
Services were conducted in the Baptist Church of Cheyenne, Rev. C. B. Reneau officiating and he was laid to rest in the Cheyenne cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Tunnard's Funeral Home.
