William Jackson Casady was born March 5, 1896 at Mineral Wells, Texas and passed away in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital September 28, 1977 after an extended illness at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 23 days.

As a boy he moved with his parents to the Cheyenne community in 1899 where they filed on a farm three miles south and one mile west of Cheyenne.

In February of 1920, he married Agnes Blanton at Cheyenne and she preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.

Survivors are one daughter, Laree Busch of Fresno, California; one son, Leo Jackson Casady of Davidson, Michigan; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, D. D. "Buck" Casady of Clinton, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Nels {Johnnie} Olson of Cheyenne; Mrs. Dalona Smith of Anaheim, California; and Mrs. Donna Cobb of Clinton, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held at the United Methodist church on Saturday, October 1, 1977 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Ed Sifford officiating.

Interment was in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers were R. J. Frankford, Raymond Blair, Clarence Marshall, Albert Maddux, Jr., S. J. Spitzer and W. L. Sanve. Rose Chapel of Cheyenne was in charge of services.
