Paul Casady, 77, of Grove, Oklahoma died at his home on September 2, 1997 of a massive heart attack.
Paul was born March 24, 1920 at Cleveland, Oklahoma, the son of Edward and Rachel Lettie Cook Casady.
He married DeLena Conway on December 22, 1940 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
Mr. Casady farmed and owned oil leases near Erie, Kansas.
He moved to Grove, Oklahoma in 1986.
During World War II he served in the Army Air Corps. He served as Commander of the American Legion, belonged to Veteran of Foreign Wars, was Governor of the Moose Lodge in Grove, Oklahoma and was a member of the Hickory Grove Fireboard.
He was a loving husband and a devoted dad and grandpa to his sons and grandsons.
Survivors include his wife, DeLena Casady of the home in Grove, Oklahoma; two sons, John Terrill Casady and wife Joy of Wellsville, Kansas; and Mitchell Frank Casady and wife Pam of Ottawa, Kansas; grandsons, Clay and John Casady of Ottawa, Kansas; two nephews, Lee Dean of Manor, Texas and Roger Dean of Mansville, Missouri.
He leaves behind a host of friends and relatives to mourn his untimely death.
Memorial services were Friday, September 5, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church of Grove, Oklahoma with Ken Siemens officiating. Services were conducted by the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove, Oklahoma.
Interment in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
