Clara Margaret Bartz Clawson

Clara Margaret Bartz Clawson was born February 23, 1912 in Grimes, Oklahoma to Regina and Bill Bartz.
She passed away September 5, 2004 in Farmington. New Mexico at the age of 92 years, 6 months and 12 days.
Clara lived with her family at Cotton Store near Grimes community and she attended Brookside.
She was married to Olin Francis Clawson in the early 1930's and they later moved to Los Angeles, California where she remained for 50 years.
Olin passed away in 1964 and in the 1970's she moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee where she lived for twenty years.
Clara had recently moved to Farmington to be near her son.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and five brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2004 at Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Sayre, Oklahoma. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Seotember 10, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma officiated by Tom Cooksey. Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service.
Survivors include one son, Robert Clawson and his wife, Wanda of Farmington, New Mexico; one brother, Orville Bartz of Elk City, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
