Annie Victoria "Ann" (Fogg) Weaver

Funeral services for Ann Weaver were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. At the Sayre Church of Christ. Burial was at Berlin Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
The family suggests memorials to be given to the Westview Boys Home in care of the Sayre Church of Christ in Sayre.

Annie "Ann" Victoria Fogg Weaver was born January 22, 1921 in Bushland, Texas to Joseph and Johnnie Fogg. Ann died on August 9, 2014 at Garden City, Kansas at the age of 93 years, six months and seventeen days surrounded by her family. Ann moved with her family to Carter when she was young, and she graduated from Carter High School in 1938. She married Ermic Weaver in 1940 in Elk City and resided in Carter where they farmed until 1950.
In January of 1950 they moved to the community of Berlin where they farmed and raised cattle for fifty years. Ermic and Ann moved to Sayre in 1995, and continued to farm and raise cattle until 2000 when Ermic passed away.
 
Ann was not only a farm wife, but worked for the Department of Human Services for twenty nine years before retiring in 1982.
 
She was an active member of the Berlin Community Quilt Club, and a faithful member of the Sayre Church of Christ.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Ermic.
 
She is survived by her three sons: Joe Weaver and wife, Sue of Garden City, Kansas; Leon Weaver and wife, Diana of Garden City, Kansas and Jimmy Weaver and wife, Terri of Boise City; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Ann is also survived by a sister JoAnn Thompson of Sayre.
