Graveside services for Rita Mae Dovell Philippi will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Berlin cemetey, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma officiated by Matt Richardson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Rita Mae Philippi was born July 30, 1945 in Sayre to Amos and Rena Dovell and she died Sunday January 7, 2007 in Sayre at the age of 61.
She grew up in Oklahoma and later moved to California where she met and married Dwayne Philippi. They moved to Utah in 1976.
She owned and operated Accurate Tax Bookkeeping from 1977 until 1993. In 1993 they moved to Sayre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne on December 12, 2006; and one brother, Alan Dovell.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Ouzts and husband, Stacy of Layton, Utah; Corena Hammer and husband, Ron of Bountiful, Utah; six grandchildren; her parents, Amos and Rena Dovell; one brother, James Dovell and family of Cheyenne; and a host of other relatives and friends.
