Funeral services for Charles Holiday Neal, Rt. 1, Cheyenne, who died Saturday, December 22, 1962 at the Sayre hospital following an extended illness, were held Sunday, December 23, 1962 at 2:30 p.m. in the Berlin auditorium with Don Hicks officiating assisted by Tom Kent.
Born May 18, 1881 at Pratt, Kansas, Mr. Neal moved with his parents to eastern Oklahoma and later homesteaded in the Berlin community in 1904 where he was a resident until now.
He was married to Nellie Fetty at Berlin January 10, 1906.
He was a member of the Berlin Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; three sisters; and one grandchild.
Survivors are his wife of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Whitledge, Mrs. Mildred Bowers and Mrs. Louise Macklin, all of Sayre; Mrs. Audrey Drew of Cheyenne; Mrs. Dolly Farley of Lubbock, Texas; three sons, Ray and Don of Cheyenne; Dale of Sayre; one brother, Carl of Borger, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Rush of Beggs, Oklahoma; Mrs. Ethel Ericksten of Bentonville, Arkansas; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Interment was in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
