Aged Berlin Woman Claimed By Death Early Monday; Is Ill for Six Months
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Berlin church of Christ for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Marshall, resident of that community for the past 20 years who succumbed early Monday morning October 10, 1938 after a prolonged illness.
She was 79 years, eight months and 24 days of age at the time of her passing.
She had resided with her daughter, Mrs. John Marshall for the past 20 years.
She was born on January 16, 1859.
Survivors include two sons, Will Robbins of Wewoka; Jess Robbins of Pine Valley, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Marshall of Berlin; and Mrs. Henry Marshall of Elk City.
Evangelist Harold Knight of Bulo, directed the funeral services.
Burial was made at the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by the Moore funeral home.
