Dorothy Ola Cook Kenner was born June 18, 1926 in Spring Creek, Oklahoma to Gertrude and John Bennett Cook.
She passed away March 22, 2002 in Sayre Hospital, Sayre, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years 9 months and 4 days.
Dorothy grew up in the Spring Creek community and later worked at Frank’s Cafe in Sayre.
She was married to Clifford I. Kenner on March 31, 1958 in Cordell, Oklahoma and they made their home in the Berlin Community where they farmed and ranched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and four brothers, Luther, Harvey, John D. and Kenneth Cook.
Services were held Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at Rose Chapel, officiated by Ray Smart.
Burial was at the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Staci Kenner of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Casey Lynn Kenner, Rusty T. Kenner and Jared Alan Johnson; two sisters, Phyllis Fairless of Shamrock, Texas; and Ruby Welch; one brother, Kerrell Dean Cook of Erick, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
