Harvey Dean Evans

Funeral services for Cheyenne resident Harvey Dean Evans, 55, were conducted September 17, 1985 in Sayre. Burial was at the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Mr. Evans died September 14, 1985 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
He was born June 17, 1930 in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School, Sayre Junior College and the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Evans was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He worked for Union Carbide Company, eventually becoming president of the company's Presto Welding Supply subsidiary of Oklahoma City. He retired in June and moved to Cheyenne with his wife, Jo Ann Lorenski whom he married March 14, 1982.
Mr. Evans was a member of the American Welding Society.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jodie Corbitt of Houston and Tracy Lee Evans of South Carolina; three sons, Monty of Germany; Timm of Elk City; and Thad of Lubbock, Texas; his parents, Ted and Priscilla Evans; and two grandchildren.
