Funeral services for James F. Cole will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Tom Harguess officiating.
Interment is under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City, Oklahoma.
James F. Cole was born January 21, 1917 at Hamilton, Texas to William Fletcher and Sarah Ellen Glober Cole and died Monday at the age of 82.
Mr. Cole was a longtime resident of El Paso, Texas and spent most of his working career in the wholesale grocery business.
He was married to Wanna Lee Tunnard on September 29, 1946 at Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Mrs. Cole preceded him in death on September 13, 1989.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth L. Cole and his wife, Maureen of El Paso, Texas; Terry L. Cole of Atlanta, Georgia; and Jerry W. Cole and his wife Deborah of Alabama; one grandchild; four step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; one brother, W. F. Cole of Dallas, Texas; and two sisters, Pauline Donald and Sybil Taylor, both of Lubbock, Texas.
