Gale Brookshier

Gale Brookshier was born August 18, 1934 in Berlin, Oklahoma to Helen and Ross L. Brookshier and passed away January 11, 2000 in the Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 32 days.
Gale graduated from Berlin High School and married Sue Donna Burnam on May 22, 1954 near Wheeler, Texas.
They lived in the Berlin community where he farmed before moving to Elk City in 1985 to make their home.
After moving to Elk City, Gale worked a a realtor for Feather Realty and Century 21 until his retirement in 1995.
He was a member of the Second and Adams Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.
Survivors include his wife, Sue of the home; two daughters and sons-in- law, Candace and David Schneberger, and Robin and David Lantz, all of Elk City, Oklahoma; one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Bobbie Brookshier of Elk City, Oklahoma; one brother, Wayne D. Brookshier of Cherry Valley, California; five grandchildren, Casey and Corye Lantz, Cody Brookshier, Brandy Aldridge and Brooke Schneberger; and one great granddaughter, Shelby Aldridge.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2000 at the Second and Adams Church of Christ, officiated by Rod Minor, and assisted by Tom Harguess.
Interment was in the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Whinery- Savage Funeral Service.
