Alma Margie Zumwalt Baker

Alma Margie Zumwalt Baker, 72, was born on March 18, 1911 in Nogall, New Mexico, and passed away Tuesday morning, September 13, 1983, in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
She moved with Frank and Hattie Bright, who reared her to the Berlin community where she attended school.
On January 12, 1929, she married Roy E. Baker in Sayre, Oklahoma.
They made their home in the Berlin community until moving to Cheyenne, Oklahoma in August 1975.
Mrs. Baker had been a member of the Berlin Methodist Church for more than fifty years and a former member of the home demonstration club.
Her parents preceded her in death as well as one son and one brother.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; two daughters, Doris Atha of Waynoka, Oklahoma; Lila Black of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Lonnie Zumwalt of California; one sister, Mae Windes of Tempe, Arizona; four grandchildren, Gary and Cheryl Black of Oklahoma City; Jeanie Atha of Shattuck, Oklahoma; Debra Ann Atha of Waynoka, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Black of Oklahoma city; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by Elbert Shumaker, on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Berlin Methodist Church with interment following in the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Rose Chapel Funeral Services of Cheyenne was in charge of arrangements.
