Ollie Bell Sterling Davis was born on November 5, 1918, to R. W. and Tilda (Turner) Hill in Bristow, Oklahoma, and as a child her family forged the Kiamichi River in a covered wagon and settled in the Little Cedar community in 1919. She was the youngest of three brothers and a sister. She passed this life on December 11, 2016 at the age of 98.

Ollie Bell attended Little Cedar School before moving to Antlers in the late the 20s. Leaving school in the 8th grade in1932 she started her strong work ethic and learned to adapt to many different kinds of jobs.
After marrying Grady Sterling in 1936 at the age of 18, she started her long career as a clerk working many stores in our community such as Wood Brothers, Otasco, Silvermans, Jo's Boutique, Halley's Drugstore, and Pratts just to name a few. Grady and Ollie Bell were married for 50 years before his death in 1986. She later married Jimmy Davis spending 19 years in marriage before his death in 2007.

Little Grandmother (as her family called her) was always at her best when fishing, camping, working in her garden, or spending time with her grandsons as they raised show pigs on her farm. Her biggest delight was having a huge meal on the table for her family. She was a true pioneer woman keeping her cellar full of food from her own hands.

One Sister: Clara Nelson, and three brothers: Herbert Hill, Clinton (Doc) Hill, and Ted Hill. Also, preceding her in death was her beloved son-in-law, Tom Wells.
