Bobby Steve Burrage, age 72, an Antlers, OK resident. He was born on Monday, July 7, 1952, to Bill and Mattie Lou (Rowland) Burrage, at Durant, OK. Steve passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Plano, TX.  

Steve graduated from Antlers High School. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Accounting. Steve was the owner of FirstBank, headquartered in Antlers, Oklahoma where he served as Chairman of the Board. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He married Roberta Elizabeth (Winters) on Saturday, May 24th, 1975, at Antlers, Oklahoma. They enjoyed 50 years of marriage together before his passing. Steve was a member of the Antlers Methodist Church. He enjoyed boating and playing guitar. Steve loved being at work and volunteering for the Choctaw Nation. He loved offering help to Ted & Vickie Rowland's medical practice. He was a huge advocate for the City of Antlers and Pushmataha County. He served on many state boards which includes: Chairman of the Oklahoma Bankers Association, Chairman of the OBA Government Relations Council, Board Member for the OBA Senior Management Committee. Steve has also served on the ABA National Accounting Committee and Government Relations Council and has served as the Chairman of the ABA State Membership Council. Steve has also served on the board of BancInsure and the OKC Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He also served many public roles. He was Chairman of the Oklahoma Tax Commission, the Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector, and Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. He also served as President of the University of Oklahoma Bizzell Memorial Library Society. He currently was serving as the Treasurer for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and the OU Foundation Board. Steve was inducted into the Oklahoma Bankers Association Hall of Fame in 2021.  

Steve is survived by his wife, Roberta Elizabeth Burrage of the home in Antlers, OK.; sons, Mark Burrage and Melissa of Atoka, OK, Mike Burrage of Antlers, OK, Bradley Burrage and wife Railey of Antlers, OK; grandson, Parker Burrage of Atoka, OK; granddaughters, Emma Burrage of Atoka, OK, Brook Burrage of Antlers, OK, Lauren Burrage of Antlers, OK, Claire Burrage of Antlers, OK, Ellington Burrage of Antlers, OK; brothers, Mike Burrage and wife Aletha of Oklahoma City, OK, David Burrage and wife Tammy of Edmond, OK; sister, Sissy Holloway of Edmond, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear and loved friends. 

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Burrage and Mattie Lou Cooper. ******************************************************************************
