Shirleyan (Wilkins) Arce

Shirleyan Arce passed from this life Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 53. Shirleyan was born June 9, 1963 to Emma Jean Wilkins in Talihina, Oklahoma. 

Shirleyan had been a member of the Dallas community for forty years. During this time she worked for home health as a caregiver for many different people over the years. She was a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan and enjoyed getting to watch the Sooners play. Shirleyan was a loving and out going person who loved her family dearly. She will be missed by all. 

Shirleyan is preceded in death by husband Benjamin Arce and mother Emma Jean Wilkins.

She leaves behind a loving family that includes her son Silas Leon Arce-Wilkins; nieces Tiarra Beaver, Teyada Beaver, and Roxanne Perez; nephew Isreal Perez all of Dallas, Texas; sister Shelly Greenwood of Finley, Oklahoma; uncle Doug Fraley of El Reno, Oklahoma; grandson Phabian Williams and god-daughter Desire Denice Cortez both of Dallas, Texas, as well as many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. 

Pallbearers will include Silas Leon Arce, Gilberto Zuniga, Roberto "Bobby" Martinez, Damien Villa, Tony Greenwood, and Anthony Martinez.

Choctaw wake services will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers. Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10 o'clock a.m. at Old Cedar Church in Finley, Oklahoma with Terrell Txpana officiating. Interment will be held at Walker Family Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.
