Virgil lived life to the fullest; he loved big and worked hard. His life’s work was building bridges; he worked as a project manager/supervisor building bridges all across the country for over 20 years. The bridge he was most proud of was the bridge he built with the help of his wife, to know and serve the Lord. Virgil loved the outdoors. He enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, and deer hunting, riding his Harley, tinkering with his feed truck, and working his cows. Home time with his wife, Kim, watching the cows and calves, was his favorite time.
Virgil is survived by his wife, Kimberly; a daughter, Jennifer Riggins a step-daughter, Tarisa Taylor; brothers, Jon and Ty Weidner; and a sister, Debra Robertson and husband Jerry; and “brothers”-in-law, Chuck Alexander and wife Kendra, and Junior Maples. This site may be freely linked, but not duplicated in any way without consent.
