Thomas Morris Barnett was born November 7, 1925 in Snow, Oklahoma, to Earl and Hallie May (Smith) Barnett. He passed from this life October 23, 2009 in Talihina, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. 

Thomas served in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946. He later married Dorthy Pollard, October, 1950 in Globe, Arizona. Thomas enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife: Dorthy Barnett; parents: Earl and Hallie May Barnett; two brothers: Curtis and Doyle; and four sisters: Edna, Georgia, Ruth and Edith. 

He is survived by two children: Thomas Darrell Barnett & wife Shelly of Snow, Oklahoma, and Mary Kay Sanders of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Kristy Russell & husband Joe of Nashoba, Oklahoma, Shana Arnold & husband Daniel of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, and Layla Barnett of Texas; great grandchildren: Kaylin Russell, Amancha Russell, & Shaylin Arnold; sisters: Geraldine Willoughby of Roswell, New Mexico, Mildred Daniel of Grove, Oklahoma, and Vena Moon of Antlers, Okahoma; as well as many other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM ~ Monday, October 26, 2009 ~ Fresh Beginnings Church 
Officiating: Reverend Andy Reed ~ Charlie Mueller 
Interment: Finley Cemetery ~ Finley, Oklahoma
