Lee Ayers

Lee Ayers was born on October 25, 1952 to J. T. and Marie Ellen (Colinger) Ayers in McKinney, TX. He passed from this life on February 27, 2008 in McAlester, OK at 55 years of age. 

Lee married Donna Clark on April 6, 1970 in Princeton, TX. Lee had lived in the Antlers area all of his adult life. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish, hunt, and shoot skeet. Lee’s passion was his family, traveling, and riding his Harleys with Donna. He was a skilled mechanic who could fix anything and for the past seven years, had driven for Wal-Mart. His C.B. handle was “Hillbilly”. 

Lee was preceded in death by his Father: J.T. Ayers. 

He is survived by his Mother: Marie Ayers of Hugo, OK.; his wife: Donna Ayers, of the home; his children: Lisa (Ayers) Tucker, Jessie Ayers, and Daniel and wife, Jacy Ayers, all of Antlers, OK; Brother: Thomas and wife, Debra Ayers, of Hugo, OK; Sisters: Renee and husband, Gary Don Ward, of Paris, TX, and Joyce and husband, Gary McDaniel, of Hugo, OK; and 9 grandchildren: JB, Matt, and Jenna Tucker, Corbett, Kaitlyn, and Jessie Jr. Ayers, Kristyn, Jacob and Trenton Ayers, all of Antlers, OK; as well as numerous other relatives and good friends.
