Marie Louise Christopherson entered her eternal rest on September 17, 2020 in Hugo, Oklahoma.

She was born on April 26, 1935 in Garibaldi, Oregon to Lee Gordon and Elsie (Towers) Blanchard. Marie married Nels Ivan Christopherson on November 30, 1954 in Grande Ronde, Oregon. They eventually moved to (Cloudy, Oklahoma for 20 years. Then, Antlers for 5 years. After which she moved to Messer, Oklahoma, then to Hugo, Oklahoma where she lived for nearly 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Marie enjoyed many hobbies such as cooking, sewing, church activities, genealogy, and spending time with children. She also had a deep love for animals. Marie will be lovingly remembered as a wife and mother who loved life, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Nels Ivan Christopherson Sr.; a son: Richard Alan Christopherson; her parents: Lee Blanchard and Elsie Blanchard; grandparents: Nathan and Nina (Phelps) Blanchard , and Alexander and Sina (Burgett) Towers; and sisters: Carol Kuykendall and Laura Blanchard.

Marie is survived by her children: Nels Ivan Christopherson Jr., Shari Ann (Christopherson) Fly-Cameron, Mari Angelina (Christopherson) Cooper-Bylard, and Jennifer Ann Christopherson; brother: David Lee Blanchard; grandchildren: Michelle (Christopherson) Hooker, Judy Christopherson, Stephanie Christopherson, Pamela Sue (Fly) Barnes, James Bryan Fly; great-grandchildren: Mark Anthony Cooper, James Joshua Cooper, Christina Renee Cooper, Nichole Christopherson, Jeffery Prugle, Josh Prugle, Dylan Christopherson, Joshua Long, Christopher Ivan Fly, Alexander Leon Barnes, Zacariah Eugene Barnes, Xavier Kincaid-Fly, Mikaylah Rose Barnes, Chance Cooper, and Errison Cooper.

Visitation will take place at the Serenity Funeral Service Chapel on September 22, 2020 from 10AM to 2PM.

Funeral Service will follow at 2PM at Serenity Funeral Service.
