Martin Wayne Wilson, age 57, of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on July 31, 2026, in Durant.

Martin was born on December 13, 1968, in Lawton, Oklahoma to parents Kenneth James and Cachita Faye (Cravatt) Wilson. Martin attended school in California and later married Sandra Wilson, and they were united in marriage until Sandra’s passing.

Martin proudly served his country in the United States Army serving in Iraq. He retired after over 20 years of service, and he was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.

Martin is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Wilson and sister Laura Wilson Gasca.

Martin is survived by his mother Cachita Faye Zaragoza and husband Richard; father Kenneth James Wilson and wife Barbara; brother Kenneth E. Wilson; sister Tina M. Sparks; sister Lucinda A. Arias; brother Nathan Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday August 6, 2026, at Brown’s Durant Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Russell Horn will officiate assisted by Forever Lampkin.

Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Choctaw Nation Veteran’s Cemetery in Tuskahoma, OK. with Anthony Gasca, Isaac Wilson, Kenneth Swan, Noah Lampkin, Zane Sparks, and Nathan Wilson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Arias and Tony Pelayo.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
