Glenda Marie (Walton) Mingo

Glenda Marie Mingo, 66, passed away April 29, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Glenda was born March 1, 1952 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Fred Raymond and Elizabeth Marie (Cannon) Walton. Glenda received an associates in business administration from Eastern Oklahoma College in Ada, Oklahoma. She then worked until her retirement as a customer service specialist at AT&T. Glenda enjoyed sewing in her younger years. Later, she crocheted and loved to read romance novels and watching the tv series 24. Glenda always enjoyed visiting with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Fred Walton and Marie McIntosh.

Glenda is survived by her children: John Mingo II of Palmdale, California, Ashley Mingo of Antlers, Oklahoma and Terrill Jackson of Santa Clarita, California; brothers: Larry Walton of Antlers, Oklahoma, Micheal Walton of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Kirk McIntosh of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Clifford McIntosh of Chester, Virginia, Johnny McIntosh of Houston, Texas and Patrick McIntosh of Stringtown, Oklahoma; sisters: Barbara McGee of Antlers, Oklahoma, Jeannetta Fairman and Jackie McIntosh both of Antlers, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Mya Mingo of Palmdale, California, Alyssa Smith of Long Beach, California, Tyler Jackson and Tavon Jackson of Santa Clarita, California; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday May 5, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Antlers with Arthur Jefferson, Jr. and Reverend Roylia Akins Officiating. Jeannetta Fairman will be leading congregational hymns.

Burial will follow at Antlers City Cemetery. Family night will be 6-8PM Friday at the First Baptist Church of Antlers.
