The journey on this earth for Lowell Neil Kimberlin completed on November 26, 2018. He closed his eyes in peaceful slumber, to wake up in the arms of his Lord and Savior.

Neil grew up in Antlers, until he joined the Navy in 1956, at the age of 17. There he started out as an Electrician's Apprentice and worked his way up to an Electrician Foreman. He travelled the seas of the world. In 1960, he went for service on destroyers. Among the distant lands travelled were France, Italy, Scotland, England, Japan, Greece, Spain and many others. He served in Vietnam and the Cold War. In 1965, he left the Navy to start a family.

He worked for American Airlines in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Brown & Root. In his later years he worked for Jerry Nowell in Antlers, Oklahoma. After retiring, he became active in the VFW. He served in the VFW Post #3658, in Antlers, Oklahoma and then in the VFW Post # 8316, in Hugo, Oklahoma. This was his family and second home.

His passions were his children, cows, and feeding raccoons on his front porch. He loved raising cows and scratching these babies of his.

Neil is preceded in death by his parents. Also preceding him are his four brothers: Robert Dale, Edward Leon, Glenn Wayne and Gary Dean Kimberlin. Two sisters also went before him: Crystal Juanita Kimberlin and Beulah Louise (Kimberlin) Carter.
