Kayla Ryan "Pinki" Johnson

Kayla Ryan Johnson "Pinki", age 29, lifelong resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was born December 30, 1994 to Jackie Belshe and Marlene Johnson in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She has lived in the Shawnee most of her life until recently moving to Seminole.

Kayla attended Tecumseh and Shawnee schools.

She worked in the nursing field at Seminole Care and Rehab Facility.

Kayla loved doing cosmetics, including eyelashes and eyebrows. She loved hanging out with her friends and traveling. She was a wild adventures spirit, with a sassy attitude.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jackie Belshe; and grandmother, Sandra Sue "Sandy" Johnson.

Survivors include her daughter, Tynleigh LaVae Trout; mother, Marlene Johnson of Seminole, OK; sister, Erica Johnson and husband Chrisopher Patton of Shawnee, OK; niece and nephews, Davian Johnson, Riot Johnson and Kingsley Meadows; 2 brothers, Jackie Johnson and wife Jamie of Wanette, OK and Bradley Johnson of Shawnee, OK; aunt and uncles, Elizabeth Dees, Manuel Johnson, John Johnson, Travis Johnson and many cousins; and many many friends and coworkers at Seminole Care & Rehab.

Tribal Rites will be Friday evening, January 5, 2024 at Horseshoe Bend in Shawnee with Reverend Victor Cope, First Indian Baptist Church of Moore officiating. Burial will be Saturday morning, January 6, 2024 at Wakolee Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
