Shawnee resident Lois Maebelle Mullins Shelton, 93, died Sunday, July 2, at a local nursing home.
She was born May 8, 1913, in Katy, Oklahoma, to Henry and Ada Lovell Mullins.
She attended school in Wynnewood.
She married Newton W. Shelton July 1, 1935, in Sulphur and moved to Shawnee in 1974.
She was preceded in death by her husband on January 27, 2003.
Survivors include a nephew, Joe E. Austin of Oklahoma City; two great-nephews, Joe L. Austin and wife Dori of Moore; and Mark Austin and wife Kim of Arcadia; two great-nieces, Tammy Orr and husband Ron of Oklahoma City; and Stephanie Austin of Parma, Idaho; and a sister-in-law, Loreen Mullins of Woodward.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Zimmer officiating.
Walker Funeral Service is directing arrangements.
