Frances Lee Jones, 93, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at her home.

She was born October 20, 1926 to Lee and Edith (Sickler) Powell in Newalla, Oklahoma.

Frances grew up in Newalla and attended schools at Black and Shawnee.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Edith Powell.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Joyce Ann Jones and Linda Sue Childers; 1 son, Robert Lee Henderson; 11 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Bobby Lyons, Mary Fisher and Bonnie Newlan; 1 brother, Gary Powell; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Private family burial will be held at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
