Carol Sue (McInturff) Hurst was united with her Lord on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

She was born on April 25, 1944 to Georgia and Monroe McInturff in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Carol married Robert “Bub” Hurst on September 13, 1961 in Tecumseh, OK where they resided there until 1986 and relocated to Oklahoma City where she worked in the medical profession until retirement in 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bub” Hurst on December 29, 2016; her parents; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her 2 children, Brenda Renee Croteau of Oklahoma City and Robert Bryan Hurst, Norman, OK; 5 grandchildren, April Blum of Edmond, OK, Ashley Hurst of Oklahoma City, Chelsey Kinnamon of Oklahoma City, Haley Hurst and Emily Hurst of Norman, OK; 5 great-grandchildren, Madelynn Smith of Edmond, OK, Evelynn Grace Blum of Edmond, OK, Caleb Brewer of Oklahoma City and Bayleigh and Brenleigh Pollard of Oklahoma City; 2 sisters, Betty Rawls of Shawnee, OK and Pat Mount of Shawnee, OK; 3 brothers, Tommy McInturff of Shawnee, OK, Phillip McInturff of Shawnee, OK and Steven McInturff of Texas; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Friday, September 14, 2018 with family present to greet friends and family. Graveside Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Richard Talley officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
