Isabelle Colleen Edgin, age 93, of Moore, OK passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 in Moore.

She was born March 25, 1927 in Shawnee, OK to Frank and Mary (McKosato) Peacore.

Isabelle grew up in the Shawnee area. She lived in California for 25 years, but lived most of her life in Shawnee.

She attended school at Haskell.

Isabelle married James Edgin in 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She was a nurse for 42 years. She worked many years as a surgical nurse and finished her career at Sunset Estates in Tecumseh, OK.

Isabelle was a member of New Hope Baptist Church since 2013.

She was a talented seamstress and loved to sew. Isabelle also loved to go shopping. She was very proud of her family and dearly loved all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James; daughter, Margaret Wood; son, David Tibbetts; grandson, Christopher Gregory; son in law, Robert Godfrey; siblings, Charlotte Hillman, Margaret Peacore, Buddy Peacore, Georgie Peacore, and Eugene Peacore.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Godfrey; adopted daughter and her husband, Melanie and Sam Roberts; adopted son, Steve Brokeshoulder; Sister, Jackie Helfer; daughter in law, Karen Tibbetts; Niece, Georgette Capshaw; grandchildren, Andy Gregory, Michelle Wilson, Mary Black, Rachael and Mike Hedgcoth, Tony and Amy Tibbetts, Chris Tibbetts, Angie Tibbetts, Lauren Roberts, Megan and Wynn Royce; great grandchildren, Ally and Talor Stewart, Taylor and Destiny McLeod, Ashley and Chad Enloe, Katelynn Gregory, Andrew Gregory II, Drew Black, Josh Nelson, Nathan Black, Maya Black, Novella Tibbetts, Townsend Tibbetts, Austin Hedgcoth, Evan Hedgcoth, Michael Hunt, Chase Hunt, Leah Jones, Ricklee Henderson, and Chevy Royce; great great grandchildren, Landen McLeod, Noah McLeod, Ledger Enloe; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.

Public visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church with Josh Stinnett of New Hope Baptist Church, Bethel Acres, Oklahoma officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
