Mary Jane (James) Dodson, 85, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
She was born on June 24, 1940, to Clois and Irene (Hammond) James in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Mary received her GED while working at Tinker Air Force Base as an Aircraft Technician for thirty years.
She lived in her home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma for twenty-five years.
Mary was a member of One Church in Tecumseh formerly Tecumseh Pentecostal Church of God for many years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Dodson; her parents; 4 brothers, Alan, Clois Jr., Jimmy and Frank James; 3 sisters, Eula Mae Maize, Norma Hawkins, and Linda Quick.
Those left to cherish her memory are 2 sisters, Patricia Selman and Sherry Hurt; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025 and continue through service time. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025 at One Church in Tecumseh formerly (Tecumseh P.C.G.) with Reverend Ronnie Churchwell officiating assisted by Reverend Fred Owens. Burial will follow and Mary will be laid to rest at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
