Johnnie Burch, 82, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 in Shawnee.

She was born January 4, 1936 to Douglas and Viola Cox in Konawa, Oklahoma.

Johnnie was raised in Konawa and graduated with the class of 1954 from Konawa High School.

She married Billy Jim Burch on December 26, 1958 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Johnnie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved taking care of the cattle, playing basketball; going to her family’s sporting events, and coaching. She never missed a game and was always there to cheer them on.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Claude Julian.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 59 years, Bill Burch of the home; daughter, Toni Dees of Tecumseh, OK; grandson, Colten Dees of Tecumseh, OK; great-granddaughter, Aireanna Dees of Tecumseh, OK; and sister, Marie Childers of Konawa, OK; and other extended family and friends.

Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Robin Talley officiating. Casket will be closed. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
