Funeral services for Fred Lancaster were held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee.
Fred Freeman Lancaster was born 13 March 1920 in Johnson County Texas to Jesse Poynor Lancaster and Bertha Katherine Lancaster. He died following a surgery in Pueblo Colorado on 3 July 1975 at the age of 55.
Fred lived in Fort Worth Texas for 27 years and was a graduate of Poly High School.
On December 30, 1941 , he married Anajean Muhlhausen.
He was a Veteran of the US Air Force during WW ll. He volunteered September 1, 1942 and was released on October 26, 1945. Following his release , he was employed by Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement in 1973. They then moved to Pueblo where they operated a rental service.
Fred is survived by his wife, Anajean of Pueblo; sons Larry G. Lancaster of Shawnee Oklahoma and Eddie J. Lancaster of Stone Mountain Georgia; his mother Mrs. Bertha Lancaster of Granbury Texas; four brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.
