ALFRED JAMES WARDEN
1926 - 2008


Alfred James Warden was born on October 31, 1926, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
Alfred, the son of Dan and Ora May Baize Warden, was a resident of Shawnee.
He married Sibble Faye Mills on March 21, 1949 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
He worked as an aircraft mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. During his free time Alfred enjoyed fishing with numerous fishing buddies.
He attended church at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee.
His parents; one brother, Short Warden; and infant twin brothers, preceded Alfred in death.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sibble Faye Warden of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Jimmie Nicely of Shawnee and Kathy and Donnie Romberg of Shawnee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Billie Warden of Shawnee and Russell and Shirley Warden of Muskogee; sisters and brother-in-law, Hazel Muzny of Oklahoma City, Ida Molander of Shawnee and Barbara and Dean Lane of Seminole; grandchildren, Shawn and P.J. Romberg of Oklahoma City, Derek and Amy Romberg of Yukon, Jamie and Patrick Loving of Oklahoma City and Jake Nicely of Tulsa; great-grandchildren, Claire Romberg and Noah Romberg; special nephew, Don and Carrie Mills of Austin, Texas as well as numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Phil Thompson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
