Graveside services for Elmer Dodson VanDyke, 78, Chandler, were held Tuesday at Dale Cemetery.

Mr. VanDyke died Saturday in Chandler.

He was born March 3, 1923, in Rising Sun, Maryland to Lebarley and Florence Meaders VanDyke.

His parents preceded him in death.

VanDyke was a diesel mechanic.

Survivors include his two daughters, Robin Patterson of Chandler and April Gambrell of McLoud; son, Rex VanDyke of Tecumseh; sister, Ellen Goodman of Airville, Pennsylvania and seven grandchildren.

Cremation Society of Oklahoma is in charge of the arrangements.
