TIMOTHY BARTON JOHNSON
1929 - 2016


Timothy Barton Johnson, 52, of Shawnee, died Thursday, April 21, 2016, in Oklahoma City.
He was born January 4, 1964, in Shawnee to David Wayne Johnson and Sandra Eyestone Johnson.
He graduated from Shawnee High School in 1982.
On November 7, 1984, he married Stacey Rolette.
He began working for Mobil {now known as Jindal Films} in 1984 as a Slitting Operator and was later promoted to Sr. Operator and later Rework Scrap Coordinator. Most recently he had managed the off-site warehouse, returned to the main plant and operated all the rework lines in Slitting.
Tim enjoyed playing softball, watching bull riding, but most of all spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Wayne Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Stacey Johnson of the home; three children, Lyndsey Johnson, Brooke Black and wife Emily, and Dylan Johnson of Shawnee; mother: Sandra Johnson of Shawnee; two brothers: David Wayne Johnson and wife Lynette of North Dakota and Randal Johnson of Shawnee; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Serena and Ken Daugherty of Shawnee; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will be at Walker Funeral Service from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, to receive friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Johnny Stephens officiating.
Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery.
