ROSE LEE CARPENTER

20 Nov 1930 - 20 Nov 2017

Rose Lee Carpenter, 87, of Shawnee, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at a local nursing home.

She was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Prague to Lloyd and Stella (Mitchell) Coleman.

She worked as a nursing home aid.

She lived in Shawnee most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Darlene, and a son, Bill.

Survivors include daughter: Betty Rattan of Seminole; two sons: David Carpenter of Shawnee and Ronald Carpenter of Tecumseh; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother: Johnnie Coleman of Davenport; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 24, at Little Cemetery with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating.
