James Sartin, 77 passed away peacefully February 14, 2022. He was born October 14, 1944 in Shawnee to Alfred Buford Sartin and Julia Elizabeth (Landrum).

James was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Julia Sartin; sisters, Carmalita Sartin, Judy Milburn; and his son, Brett Sartin. Those left to cherish his memories are his brothers and their spouses, Ernie and Sherry Sartin, Johnny and Connie Sartin; his daughter, Lisa Humphrey and her husband Lee Huphrey; niece and nephews, Lori Sartin, Michael Sartin, Bradley Sartin and Jason Sartin; grandchildren, John Preston, Ashley Dansby, Brittney Goodman, Easton Veitenheimer, Natalie Bridgeman, Amber Underwood, Monica Padgett and Taylor Piatt; 20 great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Johnson Cemetery in Shawnee. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
