Cynthia Marie Copeland, 58, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Oklahoma City.
She was born July 15, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland to Ervin and Mary (Suffrin) Copeland.
Cynthia grew up in Baltimore and graduated from Baltimore Maryland High School. She lived in many places including, Oklahoma City, Fletcher, Oklahoma and Houston, Texas before settling in Shawnee.
She worked as a housekeeper for many years, in lawn maintenance and as a bartender.
Cynthia attended Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee. She liked to hang out with her friends and enjoyed having a good time. She enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Charles Copeland; and sisters, Mary Ann and Debra Lynn; and baby sister, Alice Lorrine Copeland.
Survivors include her husband, Greig Hubbard of the home; daughter, Debra Marie Copeland; granddaughter, Madison Copeland; mother; Mary Kathryn Copeland; sister, Elizabeth Sue Copeland; brothers, Ervin Copeland, Jr., James Edward Copeland and Carl Edger Copeland; nephew, Aaron Lee Copeland; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 and continue through service time. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phil Thompson, Liberty Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
